Additionally, we have trusted local partners who offer Turtle Nesting Tours during turtle nesting season and operate with the highest ethical standards to avoid disturbing these wonderful creatures in any way.

Giant Leatherback Turtles: Late October to mid-February, peaking in December and January at Las Baulas National Park and surrounding beaches.

Olive Ridley Turtles: Year-round, with peak mass nesting waves (arribadas) between July and November at Playa Ostional.

Green and Hawksbill Turtles: May through November, occasionally nesting on regional beaches in smaller numbers, with less predictability.
