Had a chance to stay here and absolutely loved the WET hotel experience. The staff and the amazing location is perfect for a visit to Tamarindo. WET hotel is located very close to all the bars, restaurants and about a three minute walk to the beach. In addition, it has an incredible outdoor bar, whose bartender pours incredible drinks. The hotel is modern , clean , and definitely the hotel I’ll choose again on my next visit. Make sure you ask for Greg, the owner. The owner is so nice and was very helpful with organizing the airport shuttle to the hotel late in the evening. If I could I would give it 100 stars. The owners are so accommodating and will book anything you need. Come relax and enjoy this amazing boutique hotel. You won’t be disappointed. This hotel is so amazing!!!! If you want a quaint hotel with all the amenities, book now. The owners were amazing from the beginning. They will accommodate anything for you. I stayed in the G Suite which is very private. Outdoor shower on your private terrace. Amazing mattress, clean, great location, amazing salt water pool, pool towels. Shower and bathrooms by the pool. My week in Tamarindo was amazing and there was so much to do within walking distance. The saltwater pool was a wonderful addition too. Many other hotel guests would congregate there and the adult-only social atmosphere was always friendly. Neke, the bartender, was an absolute artist with his drinks. Everyone who worked there did a great job and took pride and put their personal touch in what they do. I would highly recommend because when I left I felt like I was leaving behind family. Shanti19 April 2026I highly recommend this place while staying in tamarindo. The hosts are both so friendly and attentive and so accommodating. The place is relaxing, peaceful and just in the right spot to escape the noise of the nightlife in tamarindo. It’s a short walk to all the shops and cafes and dinner spots. We left our passports in the safe and the host made sure it was couriered safely to us at our next destination. Kim M22 March 2026Loved this hotel!!!!! We stayed march 7th to march 17th, 2026. What a nice new hotel! The owner Greg was so so helpful!!! Asked where can we get a good burger? He recommended El Chento in the food court. We tried it and it was our favorite for the rest of our trip . I asked where ice was and he hand delivered a bucket of ice to us!! It's the little things in life isn't it!!! Our bed was so comfy every night was a great nights sleep! The pool area was wonderful for cooling off during the day! House keepers were great and did a very though job and they were so helpful. If I had my hands full our housekeeper would quickly come to my aid and unlock my door for me. If you are arranging transportation through this hotel from airport make sure to read your messages from the transportation guy and don't get hijacked by others at the airport. They are called pirates and we got fooled and it cost us more. Not the hotels fault. March is a very hot month and I would recommend going in Feb or January. Bonus was their flexibility to use their fridge for our purchased groceries and their toaster. Another guest used their grill to make bacon and eggs for breakfast. I stayed for a week and enjoyed clean and comfortable quarters, extremely friendly and hard-working staff and security, wonderful hosts, the magnificent bartender/mix-master Neke, and a wonderful pool that was cleaned daily. The pool is amazing, especially with the bar and friendly bartender next to it! The rooms were super modern and clean. Everything you need for a minimalist stay. We could walk to the beach in 10 minutes or less and we were close to amazing restaurants. Katie and Greg were lovely and gave us dining recommendations that would not be topped. Staff exceptionally kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Check InOut effortless. Rooms super clean and nicely decorated with all modern amenities and fantastic bedding (Mattress and pillows are great) Large walk in showers with good water pressure and hot water. The pool area has clean comfortable lounges and decor with showers and bathrooms. Cabana bar offer all beverages with a good food menu and great service. Overall this hotel borders on perfect for a CR beach town place to stay and relax. My stay here was exceptional and would have no hesitation recommending to friends and family. Just a Note: The adult only concept of this hotel is ideal for me. It's simply is a no kids hotel and not the connotation one may usually make with "Adult Only" hotels in C and S America. I’m currently staying at this wonderful hotel for another four nights, and my experience so far has been absolutely terrific. Check-in was quick and seamless with Lourdes, setting the tone for an stress-free stay. Spending a couple of hours each afternoon at the saltwater pool has made every day feel incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Housekeeper Sandra, has been spot on—clearly takes pride in her work, always greeting me with a big smile and a cheerful “good morning.” It’s little details like this that make a stay truly special. I’ve also met some great people at the bar and even made a few new friends along the way. The bartender, Roman, a friendly young chap, knows his craft well and can mix up a fantastic variety of cocktails. Met the owner, Greg, who was very engaging and we talked lengthy about the hotel business, which I was in for 30 years in Canada. 🇨🇦 The location is perfect—just a five-minute walk to shops and the beach. Beautiful new rooms and a pool make it a hard decision to leave and go to the beach! Exceptional design of the pool allows for sun all day! This was the perfect place for us to “reset” on our vacation!
